Employee Management
One workspace for how your team actually works.
Foundation designs custom employee-management systems around your scheduling, training, documents, communication, and reporting — connected, instead of scattered across six different tools.
Request a DemoWhat we hear
The problems that bring people to Foundation.
We're using too many disconnected tools.
A scheduling app, a group text, a shared drive, and a training PDF nobody can find — none of it talks to the others.
Training information is everywhere.
New hires get a different version of the process depending on who trained them, because nothing lives in one place.
Managers spend too much time coordinating.
Chasing coverage, confirming who saw the latest update, and re-explaining the same thing across three channels.
Nobody knows which document is current.
SOPs get updated, but the old version is still floating around in someone's inbox or printed on the wall.
We need software that matches our process.
Generic HR platforms make you adapt your workflow to their structure — not the other way around.
Built to feel like you
Context stays with the work.
One workspace for scheduling, training, documents and reporting — instead of a different app, spreadsheet, or group chat for each. Switch tabs to see how the pieces connect.

What could be built
Examples of what a Foundation system brings together.
Not every project includes every capability below — these are examples of what a Foundation-built system can bring together, scoped to what your business needs.
Shift Coverage
A team that stays in sync
Scheduling, time-off requests, and shift coverage that stay connected — so a callout doesn't turn into a group text chain.
Role-Based Learning
Learning that feels relevant
Training paths scoped to each role, so a new hire sees what matters for their job first — not a generic onboarding packet.
Document History
Clarity, with a paper trail
SOPs and policies with version history and read acknowledgements, so everyone can point to what's current and who's seen it.
Communications
A place for the conversation
Questions, answers, and team notices that live with the work itself — instead of scattered across texts and email threads.
Reporting & Goals
The day, brought together
End-of-day reports, operational dashboards, and goals your managers can actually act on — with AI-assisted summaries for human review.
Custom Workflows
And the things only you need
The parts of your operation that don't fit a template — built as their own workflow, scoped to how your business actually runs.
FAQ
A few good questions
No. Foundation Tech designs and builds a system around your business — your workflows, your language, your structure. It isn't a shared platform you log into alongside every other customer.
WagVault is the name Tailwaggers gave to the system Foundation built for them — it belongs to Tailwaggers. Your business would get its own system, built around how your team actually works, with its own name if you'd like one.
It depends on scope — how many workflows you want connected, how many people will use it, and how much custom design work is involved. Pricing, delivery, and ownership are worked out together during the initial conversation, not quoted from a fixed menu.
Timelines depend on scope and complexity. A focused first version — covering a handful of core workflows — typically moves faster than a full multi-department system. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand what you need.
Yes. Most engagements start narrow — one or two workflows that are causing the most friction — and grow from there as the system proves useful to your team.
Los Angeles and Southern California are our primary focus, but the work is done remotely and in-person where useful, so the right fit matters more than location.
